I don't know why I was so blessed to have this man in my life. Its a second marriage. We knew each other years ago in high school. I went out with him a few times but he was a quiet kid and I was not. (ha ha). He was real handsome but didn't go to dances or parties and I loved those things. He went into the service and then made his home in California.
I didn't see him for 32 more years. Can you believe that?!! I had married and had four beautiful children (wait until I start talking about them!) . My first marriage ended after 20 years and I was single for 8 more years. In 1982 he came back East for Alumni. He was here for three days and I ran into him at the alumni parade. --------Well, anyway he stayed in town for three days and left to go back to California. We wrote letters and cards and talked every nite for four weeks at which time I decided to fly out there and marry him. What a wonderful decision that was. That was on July 30, 1982 and we just celebrated our Twenty Fifth Anniversary. I stayed in California for eight years and then we took eary retirement and came back to the town we both grow up in. We are still so happy and still so in love. Praise the Lord
